Radiohead’s MTV Beach House Concert 🏊🏻⋆。°✩

Radiohead’s performance at MTV Beach House is one of their most iconic performances. They we’re asked to play Creep for around three times in this show, so out of spite, Yorke decided to sing “Anyone Can Play Guitar” and also screams into the camera (creating the iconic blonde-yorke screaming pic), before almost drowning, and electrocuting himself for jumping into the pool!!

If you want to know more about this performance, you could try watching videos of it on youtube! this is one of the video that i recommend:

Flood ˖°𓇼🌊⋆🐚🫧

A little background about Boris, Boris were a quartet formed in tokyo in 1992. They are named after a song by Melvins, this band consist of three members, which is Wata (the love of my live) as the guitarist, Takeshi as the bassist, and Atsuo as the drummer. If you listen to their discography, you could notice that they take turns in singing! but personally Wata’s voice is my favourite, because it’s just so beautifully unique! (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡

They create a lot of good songs, and to be honest! Boris is such an underrated band, even though their songs are masterpieces! (๑⃙⃘´༥`๑⃙⃘)

One of my favourite album is Flood (sadly it’s not on Spotify..). The album Flood is a representation of stages of flood, or maybe a tsunami (?). It contains 4 tracks, with Flood part 1 as the first track, and Flood part 4 as the last. ‧₊˚ ☁️⋆。˚꩜๋࣭

Flood 1 is supposed to represent the starting of the rain. The guitar in this song is the rain that get more dense as the song progress, and the drums are thunder and lightning that get harsher and louder throughout the song  ゚ ⋆ ゚⛆ ゚ ⋆ ゚

Flood 2 is the part where the flood or the water gets higher and makes you float up

Flood 3 is when your body got weaker and started to sink, and you’re struggling to get air

And Flood 4 is where you start to accept your death, and be at peace as you slowly sink to the bottom. ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)

This album is actually very long, but PLEASE, listen to it! because the experience is really unexplainable, this is literally the perfect album to zone-out and contemplate your life to. ( ◡̀_◡́)ᕤ

The Bends 🎸☆⋆。𖦹🏊‍♂️°‧★

Radiohead's second album, The Bends was released in 13 March 1995 by Parlophone. And it was produced by Nigel Goldrich. This album features a blend of alternative-rock, art rock, and post-grunge elements. It contains 12 tracks, with Planet Telex being the first, and Street Spirit (Fade Out) as the last. 🐈

This album was named after a medical condition called the bends or decompression sickness, that usually occurs during diving. The bends is caused by the release of nitrogen bubbles if the decompression occurs too quickly, and it can cause damage to various body tissues. ∑d(°∀°d)

Radiohead actually uses this condition as a metaphor of their feelings! Because the release of Creep and Pablo Honey, had become a surprise mega-hit, and fans keep pressuring the band to release songs that are “as good” as Creep, and they keep demanding the band to play Creep on every show. So in order to break free from the demands, they created this album, where they introduces a half-dozen new musical elements! (♡°▽°♡)
